The annual awards ceremony was an opportunity for all players to let their hair down before Sunday’s end of year deciders at Greta Central Oval.
Greta Branxton Colts and defending premiers Denman Devils will battle it out for the first grade honours again, while the Scone Thoroughbreds and Singleton Greyhounds meet in the reserves and women’s league tag matches.
The Devils and Muswellbrook Rams feature in the under-18 fixture.
Scone scooped the pool on Wednesday night, with two stars – Tim Smith and Sofie Casson – walking away with the player of the year awards in first grade and women’s league tag respectively.
Fellow Thoroughbred Joe Adams picked up the rookie of the year title.
