Starting on Monday, September 8, the juniors hit the field first from 4.30pm, followed by the women and mixed divisions.
“Touch football is a fantastic sport for everyone and our priority is to provide a great social atmosphere where family, friends and workmates can get together and have fun while getting fit at the same time,” coordinator Paul Benkovic said.
“The mixed format is very popular, so don’t delay in getting your team in.
“Spots last year were very sought after.
“Mixed teams are graded according to ability and we go to great lengths to make them as even as possible.”
Junior divisions for both boys and girls are six years and under, 7-8 years, 9-10 years, 11-12 years, 13-14 years and 15-17 years.
Age will be taken as at December 31, 2014.
Team registration days are scheduled at the Muswellbrook RSL Club for senior and junior divisions.
They are as follows: tomorrow, between 5pm and 7pm; Tuesday, August 26, between 5pm and 7pm; and Saturday, August 30, between 10am and 1pm.
Team nomination forms are available from Fine n Dandy and can also be downloaded from the website.
No nominations will be accepted after August 30.
“This year, where possible, players should register online,” Benkovic said.
“Details will be explained to the person entering the team.
“An afternoon will be held on September 1 at Olympic Park between 4pm and 5.30pm for any juniors and their parents who would like to come along and see if our great game appeals to you.”
The men’s competition will begin on Wednesday, October 8, at Olympic Park.
All players are invited to the Muswellbrook and District Workers Club for the annual general meeting where you can enter your team on Tuesday, September 2, from 6pm.
