BENDIGO cyclist Glenn O'Shea completed his Commonwealth Games campaign with a silver medal in the 20km scratch race at Glasgow.

After winning gold in the team pursuit on day one, O'Shea finished second behind Kiwi star Shane Archbold in the scratch race in the early hours of Monday morning AEST.
O'Shea and Archbold were two of four riders to lap the field and it was the Kiwi who finished the stronger to take the gold medal.
Archbold, nicknamed "The Flying Mullet, has been a regular visitor to Bendigo in recent years for the Bendigo International Madison.
Meanwhile, Bendigo shooter Geoff Grenfell holds a one-point lead after the first of three days action in the Queens Prize individual event.
Grenfell is on 105 points, one clear of a group of seven rivals.
Fellow Bendigo shooter Emma Cox finished sixth in the final of the women's double trap.
