With plenty of activities going on in the Upper Hunter, your children will be far from bored.
One highlight is a teen writing workshop with the author of Dr Elbows and the Diamond of Yunxi, Angela Kirin, to be held at the Scone Library on Thursday, July 3, and the following day at Muswellbrook Library.
Other holiday activities include:
* Tennis and barbecue with the Murrurundi Youth Centre on Tuesday, July 1 (noon to 3pm)
* Fizzly Bubbly Chemistry at Cassilis Library on Wednesday, July 2 (from 10.30am)
* Teen writing workshop at Scone Library on Thursday, July 3
* The Aberdeen Highland Games with the Grand Parade on Saturday, July 5, (from 9am)
* NRL clinic for boys and girls, aged five to 12 years, at the McKinnon Oval, Aberdeen, on Monday, July 7
* Musical instrument craft at Merriwa Library on Tuesday, July 8 (from 11am)
* Soccer clinic in Scone on Tuesday, July 8
* Athletics clinic in Scone for boys and girls, aged from eight years, on Wednesday, July 9
Many events require bookings, while some have a cost.
The Scone, Murrurundi and Merriwa Youth Centres are still open on Fridays from 5pm during the holidays.
