Muswellbrook Out Of School Hours (MOOSH) has a jam-packed program of imaginative activities and ideas for children in care over the holidays, from 7.30am through to 6pm.
It all starts with I Am Special on the first day of the holidays, to be followed by music, dance, arts, crafts, a fancy dress up and a healthy cooking day.

Hunter Park Family Centre is open every day during the holidays to just call in and have a cuppa, or to participate in any of the planned activities.
The popular family day trip to the Newcastle Museum is taking place in the first week of the holidays followed by Easter cooking, family canvas art and Anzac Day celebrations.

Upper Hunter Youth Services, located at Muswellbrook Showground, have organised an Easter egg hunt, a day at the swimming pool and an Anzac Day craft day.

Muswellbrook Library has its ever-popular activities running throughout the school holidays, involving growing seedlings, planting winter veges, an ABC Open workshop, talks, movies and a design Muswellbrook workshop with local artist Leanne Ward.
Your design could end up featured in a mosaic project for Simpson Park to be completed in May.
The Red Door Community Kitchen will also be open during the break on Thursday, April 24, where anyone is welcome to come in and enjoy a home-cooked meal between noon and 2pm.
Being school holidays, there will be something on the menu for children to enjoy and face painting.
