And, the association is inviting players, old and new, young and not-so-young to come take part across minkeys, under-11s, under-16s, senior men’s and women’s divisions.
The season starts on Saturday, April 5, at 10.15am.
“We are currently accepting online registrations and payments,” publicity officer Danny Palmer said.
“If you are new to the association, the online registration process is easy – go to www.sconehockey.org.au, and click on ‘online registration’ in the menu bar.
“If you have played in either the twilight or winter competitions, you’ll have received an email with details.
“You will need the same email address you registered with last season – if you can’t remember your password, simply ask for it to be reset.”
Palmer said the fees for 2014 were identical to last year.
“Adults are $160, under-18s $90 and under-9s $45,” he said.
“If you’re looking for a team, we can place you in one.
“All players must be registered and pay their fees prior to taking the field.
“No rego, no fees – no game.”
Palmer said the association was seeking junior coaches for the under-11 and under-16 teams.
“We’d prefer a parent or senior player to assist,” he said.
“We are also looking for a canteen supervisor to help run one of the most important functions of the association.
“If we cannot find a supervisor, the canteen’s operations will be severely limited, if not closed.
“If you are interested in any of these positions, please contact the association on the phone numbers below.”
